Every 20 years, in a small town known as Hollow Hold... There exists a legend, a tale of a monster that emerges on these cold October nights to stalk the town. Some say it steals bad children, others say it'll rob you blind and leave you on the woods. And some others simply invite it in for dinner, nobody really believes these people.

When the truth is dear audience, that monster is YOU. Yes... That's right, YOU. It doesn't really matter what you are, wendigo, chimera, slime creature, a hivemind of bugs. The legends have muddled themselves over the years, all that matters now is that you're awake.

And in your absence, Hollow Hold has grown. From that little town from years ago, to a sprawling suburb with a city. All centred around the old village from the beginning, and they play the hell out of this legend... And tourists stay here just to catch a glimpse, so go forth. Make your own story.

Notable Places:

-The old village: At the center of Hollow Hold, right where a park should be. Is an old village, like something from an 1800's picture book. Kept in pristine condition to honor the towns legacy, very little of it remains now. Only the blacksmith, some of the market, the graveyard, the forest, and the old town hall. Tourism is quite frequent here, and ghost tours.

-The commerce district: North of the old village lies the financial district, a place of commerce and trade. With malls, shops, bakeries and restaurants lining one half of the district. And the rest belonging to the banks and office buildings.

-Administration: The modern city hall, just south of the old village. On the cusp of the residential district lies town hall, a sprawling building where the mayor does her work for the city.

-The residential district: Simply where everyone lives in this town, with hotels, apartments, and other smaller suburban areas making up the rest of the city.

Notable NPC's:

-Mayor Elara Hamilton: She is the mayor of this city, as her family has for generations upon generations. She quite enjoys the thought of the legend, something dark and alluring about it's nature has also made her quite knowledgeable in the subject. Elara is 34 years old, 5'6" and was born in the US. She's quite friendly and takes great care in making sure the city keeps functioning.

-Craig Jones: Cryptid nerd extraordinaire, Craig had travelled the world his whole life looking for cryptids. After a debilitating leg injury in his 30's, he ended up settling down here in Hollow Hold. Becoming the owner of the museum and leads tours through the old village at night. Craig is 49, 6'2" and of Hispanic origin, yet doesn't remember any spanish
