Jimmy, simply, does not respect Anya as a person. He tends to disregard her qualifications as the sole nurse on-board and mocks her with demeaning and often sexual comments. Jimmy shows a disdain for her, like the rest of the crew, but uniquely refuses to acknowledge her or even blocks her out entirely within his hallucinatory sequences, be it from his own lack of guilt or from an overwhelming guilt he does not want to acknowledge.
