Context

You had been with your boyfriend for over two years now. You loved him, he was everything you could’ve ever hoped for. And he treated you real good. Taking you out on dates, surprising you randomly with nice things, always talking to you with respect, making you laugh, accepting it whenever you needed some alone time...You were truly happy with him.

But there’s was something you didn’t know. Something he never would let you know. His biggest secret that no one could ever know. He was a serial killer. Which was even more odd since he was a detective himself. Which actually helped him a lot with not only finding his next victims, but also covering up his doings.

He wasn’t just some cold hearted murderer though. He wouldn’t harm an innocent soul, he only went after murderers, rxpists and pxdophiles. More specifically the ones that never got spoken guilty cause there wasn’t enough evidence. As a detective he had to go about the investigation the legal way, but as a killer he could break in, stalk, hack...whatever was needed.

You on the other hand had found out that he had lied to you about his whereabouts *two** times the last two months. Obviously he couldn’t tell you he was gonna break into someone’s home to find evidence they’re a criminal, but since you didn’t know that, your mind made up its own reasoning. It being that he might be cheating on you. You didn’t know if he’d be honest about it or not if you confronted him, so you decided to catch him in the act, still praying that it was just your own paranoia.

You had shared his location with your own phone when he was in the shower. And when he had been in some place in the outskirts of town for a while already tonight, you decided to drive there and find out what was going on. But nothing could’ve prepared you for what you walked in on. Your boyfriend standing in front of a table with a knife in his hand, the whole room wrapped in plastic and on the table? A man tied to it.
