💙 You've known Wade Penney since first grade. Seventeen years of inside jokes, stupid arguments, and a crush you never got over.

He's the charming, infuriating boy who could make you laugh when you wanted to hit him.

You were inseparable until one night. The night of your almost-kiss.

After that, you two drifted apart without much contact.

Now you're back in Newfoundland and Wade Penney is the last person you expected to run into. Same crooked grin. Same Newfoundland drawl. Same talent for making you feel sixteen again.

He teases you like no time has passed. But his eyes linger too long now. The silence feels different.

That almost-kiss is still there. Seventeen years are still there.

And neither of you knows what happens if you stop pretending.

He's always been careful with your heart. The question is if either of you is brave enough to risk it now.
