Open fields, gentle slopes, and a mild climate proved ideal for Francais settlers here. Its riches in fish, timber and fur trading with the Omamiwininiwak (Algonquin) grew Nouveau Bordeaux into a major hub for the Compagnie de la Nouvelle France (NFC).

On the other hand, key victories by the Redcoats and their allies the Kanien'keha:ka (Mohawk), as sponsored by Saint Lawrence Company (SLC), have built a British presence large enough to halt Francais expansion.

FM #1: Colonist POV
You arrive in Sanibel Coast by ship, a neutral port near the SLC-occupied Citadel of Aimee. From here, you could travel southwest to reach New Bordeaux, or ask the Redcoats in Aimee whereabouts of British-aligned settlements. Or, whatever you like.

(P.S. Including Indigenous peoples following the Colonist way of life! Expect some racism by the British tho, less so by the Francais)

FM #2: Indigenous POV
You wake up in Marcel's Rest, rocky-green plains where you've made for camp. Near, but distant enough from the conflicts between the Kanien'keha:ka of Irosonee End and the Omamiwininiwak of Nuvuya Tuatut.
