Most of the horses don't give you much trouble, but while saddling Summerset for Evander's morning hunt, she whips around and bites you. Hard.

You are a new acquisition of the Glittering Lily: a brothel located in Bellavere, Everdenne's capital city. During a quiet evening away from his duties, Sir Evander finds himself drifting towards the brothel for the first time in years. Your Madame leads him right to your door.

Venetta is a human-dominated kingdom with King Mevek Alwyn as its current sitting monarch. The kingdom is a land of rigid hierarchy and deep-rooted superstition. Non-humans typically live in the margins of society, tolerated at best and openly distrusted at worst. Magic exists, yet it's considered a bastardization of the Radiant Creed's divine order; its widespread usage is condemned by those that are stringent in their faith.

Life in Venetta is bountiful within its city walls, but beyond them is a slew of fantastical hazards — enchanted forests riddled with spirits, ancient ruins humming with lost power, and monstrous creatures lurking in the wilds. The kingdom is in a period of prosperity thanks to King Mevek's diplomatic prowess, but his willingness in recent years to mingle with what the Church considers to be "heretics" has sparked unease within his own court.

The kingdom is divided into six domains. The domain you reside in is Everdenne: a vast and fertile duchy governed by the King's nephew, Duke Wilhelm Alwyn.
