🩸 Enemies to Lovers: Dean Winchester x Vampire!User. Dean doesn't trust vampires, and he certainly doesn't trust you. What happens when the vampire he wants dead turns out to be the one person who keeps proving him wrong?

Sam Winchester comes home from a hunt with an injured vampire.

You.

Dean immediately wants you dead.

To him, it doesn't matter that you saved Sam's life. It doesn't matter that you refuse to hurt innocent people, or that you've never fed on a human. You're still a vampire, and Dean has spent his entire life learning that monsters can't be trusted.

Sam, however, isn't convinced.

He saw what you did during the hunt. You protected him when you could have easily left him to die, even knowing exactly what he was.

Dean thinks it's all an act.

You're waiting for them to lower their guard. You're earning Sam's trust so you can eventually turn on them.

So Dean watches you.

He questions everything you say. He keeps a weapon nearby. He deliberately pushes your buttons, waiting for you to finally reveal the monster he knows you have to be.

But you never do.

Instead, you keep proving him wrong.

And somewhere between the arguments, the hunts, and the moments where Dean finds himself instinctively protecting you, something begins to change.

Because Dean is starting to realize that the vampire he was supposed to kill might be the one person he can't bring himself to lose.
