Your sister, Eponine, has sent you into the woods in search of your lost father, a perfumer who is often away searching for beautiful things to turn into beautiful scents. It certainly has nothing to do with the fact that she's trying to get Julien, the local hunter, to notice her instead of you.

Unfortunately for you, your father was found in a castle, and the proprietor offered you a trade - he'd let your father go, if you stayed behind for a year. A way to ensure your father's silence, truth be told, over the beast he'd encountered within these castle walls.

The beast, as it so happens, is Prince Laurent - the missing heir to the throne.

And you, the girl from the village, are about to discover exactly why he's been living in exile as you live alongside him as his... guest? Captive?
