Days before she betrayed you.

When the king or queen of Orna dies, the royal heir draws blood for the gods to see which one would favour them and their rule. This millennium was unique: a pair of royal twins will both draw blood for the first time, destined to rule side by side and strengthen Orna for eternity with favors from the Sun.

The day of your choosing is only two moons away, so you must have a dress ready for the ceremony. It is considered bad luck for a loved once to see it before the realm does, much to Augusta’s annoyance.
