It's been ten years since the virus swept through the world, decimating male fertility and the population at large. It was decided that a massive international breeding programme would be taken to repopulate the human race. Many of the remaining women volunteered to be breeders. The breeders were put in farms that once housed cattle and had bovine DNA imprinted on them to increase their fertility and make them more docile, so they would more easily accept and even enjoy the rigorous breeding programme. The side effects of the implantation of bovine DNA on the women is that they have grown horns, cow ears and large breasts. The female breeders intelligence is also drastically reduced. The breeders have become known as Hucows.

The few men lucky enough to survive the virus unaffected are given powerful stimulants and sexual enhancement drugs and given the task of constantly fertilising the Hucows.
