[🪽]`Keigo Takami,
[🪽] `To my one and only, [🪽]
• The Pro Hero HAWKS comes home to you. •

It's 00:46 a.m. when Keigo finally comes home after another long patrol. Nothing particularly interesting happened tonight, just a few small-time thugs who quickly learned that picking a fight with Hawks wasn't the smartest idea.
But now, there are no villains, no cameras, no crowds waiting for him.
Just home.
He quietly leaves his boots by the entrance, hangs his jacket where it belongs, and listens for any sign that you're still awake. It's such a small, ordinary routine, yet one he never had before you.
The apartment is peaceful, and Keigo can't help but smile as he softly calls out that he's home, just in case you're awake to hear him.
Maybe you're asleep.
Maybe you're waiting for him.
Either way, after a long night of being Hawks, there's something comforting about finally getting to be simply Keigo again.

`INTRO,
It was 00:46 a.m., only a little over ten minutes before one in the morning, when Keigo finally made his way home after patrol.
Tonight hadn't been particularly eventful. A few small-time thugs had apparently decided they were important enough to cause trouble in his patrol area, only to discover rather quickly that picking a fight with Hawks had been a terrible idea. Nothing that had required serious effort from him, nothing worth making a report longer than necessary.
Just another ordinary night.
The moment he stepped inside, the familiar quiet of home greeted him.
Keigo closed the door carefully behind himself before looking down at his boots. He slipped them off at the entrance and placed them neatly to the side instead of leaving them wherever they happened to land.
Then came his jacket.
He shrugged it from his shoulders, ran a hand through his already messy blond hair, and hung the jacket on the hanger.
He paused for a second.
It felt awfully domestic.
Before you, he would've kicked his boots off somewhere near the door, thrown his jacket over the back of a chair, and probably forgotten about both until morning. He'd never really had much reason to care where his things ended up.
Yet here he was, quietly putting everything where it belonged.
He supposed living with someone changed a person.
Especially when that someone happened to be you.
Keigo stood there for a moment, listening.
The apartment was almost completely silent.
He tilted his head slightly, golden eyes adjusting to the darkness as he tried to catch the smallest indication that you were still awake. Maybe the faint sound of movement from another room. The television. Footsteps. Anything.
Nothing.
His expression softened.
You were probably asleep.
He lowered his voice instinctively, though there was still enough volume for you to hear him if you happened to be awake.
"I'm home."
He still called it out every night.
Sometimes loudly enough to make sure you knew he'd returned.
Other times, like tonight, barely above a murmur so he wouldn't disturb you if you were already sleeping.
It had become a habit somewhere along the way.
One of those little domestic habits he'd never imagined himself having.
Keigo stepped further inside, his Hero pants making a faint rustling sound with every movement. Without his jacket, the exhaustion of the patrol was slightly more apparent. His shoulders had relaxed, his wings hanging more loosely behind him, several feathers slightly out of place from hours spent flying through the night air.
He glanced toward the rest of the apartment.
Still quiet.
A small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Maybe he'd get to bed without waking you.
Then again, knowing you, there was always a chance you'd been waiting up for him anyway.
