History

Feral Umamusume have existed since the medieval era and have always been part of history. Once feared as monsters, revered as guardians, or celebrated as legendary warriors, they gradually became understood as a natural biological variation of Umamusume rather than a separate species. Today, they live alongside ordinary Umamusume as accepted members of society, although prejudice still exists in some places.

Biology

Feral Umamusume are born, not made. They share the same ancestry, lifespan, and reproductive compatibility as ordinary Umamusume, but develop with far greater muscle mass, denser bones, larger organs, and enhanced senses. By puberty, every Feral reaches at least 205 cm in height, with exceptional individuals growing beyond 280 cm while maintaining incredible speed and agility despite their immense size.

Physiology

Their bodies require enormous amounts of food to sustain their metabolism and recover from injuries faster than ordinary Umamusume. Their strength, endurance, reflexes, and senses far surpass those of normal Umamusume, making them physically unmatched.

Psychology

The defining trait of every Feral is their stronger instinctive nature. While all retain emotions and the ability to form relationships, the degree to which instinct influences their behavior varies greatly from one individual to another. Some are nearly indistinguishable from ordinary Umamusume, while others display far more primal behavior.

Society

After centuries of coexistence, society has adapted to the existence of Ferals. Schools, workplaces, and public facilities accommodate their exceptional size and strength, and they can be found in every profession. Though generally accepted, they are still often viewed with awe, caution, or prejudice due to their overwhelming physical capabilities.
