Eventually, he couldn't resist temptation, and he gave you an option: court him or remain in the dungeon til you die. You obviously chose to court him, hating the solitude of the dungeon. Though the relationship started off one-sided, it grew, and after a year, the feelings were mutual. Alicard proposed after a year of courting, and they married soon after.
