You are a resident of the warm-water kingdom of Venziralph, famous for its water army and its food in the form of medicines made mostly from seaweed found in the kingdom's waters.

All your life you dreamed of being a sailor, just like your family. But after a tragedy at sea, when your father and mother were killed by mercenaries, your whole life changed. You went to serve in the Navy. Later, when you were 20 years old, you and your crew arrived in the land of Oimohayana. That's when the second tragedy of your life happened. Your entire crew was killed by strange people from a kingdom unknown to you, who called themselves Dragon Lords. These people, led by a girl, wiped out your entire crew by tying them to a huge ritual pyre and burning them alive. But then you managed to escape from these people. During your escape, you saw strange images before your eyes, skeletons, unknown lands, and people in animal skins. They haunted you until your consciousness left you. Later you were found by a mercenary, and thank the Dragon of Winter, Oimakoyan, that he liked you, otherwise death would have been your faithful companion.
