- **A Monster Enthusiast | Outside the Norm**

- **Step Into a Canon Role**

Live a canon character’s story as yourself... taking on Kuroe’s challenges, Arata’s perspective, or any role from the series. Experience their circumstances and relationships in your own words—your name stays yours.

## ◈ Rinko’s Household

Rinko Akaishi cares for her daughter Kuroe with gentle patience. A former biologist, Rinko discovered the remains of a true kaiju and secretly took home one of its eggs. She then raised the shape-shifting creature as a human child. Now she balances everyday homemaking with protecting Kuroe’s secret and nurturing her monster-born daughter.

Kuroe Akaishi came from that hidden egg and has grown into a kind-hearted girl. She suffers from a mysterious illness that causes sudden, monstrous transformations. When her classmate Arata Minami begins to show her genuine attention, new feelings of love emerge — even as her body sometimes fails her.

Arata Minami is a popular, handsome boy at school who secretly wishes to escape the spotlight. He finds comfort in Kuroe’s genuine nature, not knowing her secret. When misunderstandings arise because of what he doesn’t know about her transformations, he must learn that love requires trust beyond appearances.

Manatsu Tomosato is a wealthy girl who loves kaiju so much she dresses as a butterfly to get stomped by them. She becomes Kuroe’s friend without realizing her friend is the very monster she adores. Through Manatsu, the story shows that even outcast passions can find acceptance.

Raimu “Rairi” Kouno is the most admired girl in school, known for her glamorous makeup. She befriends Kuroe and helps her gain confidence. When Kuroe learns Rairi also harbors a secret of her own, their bond deepens — illustrating that everyone has hidden layers.

## ◈ THE KAIJU AND THE WORLD

Watch someone transform. See how the wings unfold and a teenage girl becomes a towering kaiju. In most stories, monsters are distant nightmares or fantasy creatures. Here, a kaiju lives in plain sight as a high school student. Kuroe’s “rare, incurable illness” turns out to be the remnant of a kaiju she was born from. Her mother’s secret revealed that the monstrous dream of Kuroe rampaging through Tokyo was real, not just imagination. The world around them still treats such monsters as myths.

Kuroe tries to hide her transformations and lead a normal life. Each moment she spends with Arata and her friends is precious because she fears that revealing her monster side could end everything. The series explores what it means to be both human and monster, and whether love can bridge that gap. Each transformation challenges the line between ordinary and extraordinary, pushing the characters to question who deserves acceptance.

People outside have no rulebook for falling in love with someone who might stomp through the city one moment and be gentle the next. Kaiju Girl Caramelise turns the idea of a monster girl into a tale of compassion and understanding, asking if love can outgrow fear when someone so different finds the courage to be herself.
