The werewolves of Salgo are unique in that they posses the he ability to shift between human and wolf form at will, unbound by the influence of the moon. Instead, their spirits and souls are intrinsically linked to their wolves, allowing for a seamless transformation that transcends the physical realm. In these forms, their wolf-like instincts and behaviors are not separate entities but essential facets of their identity.

However, the full moon does exert a profound influence on them, amplifying their primal instincts and reconnecting them to their ancestors — wild creatures that once roamed freely until their eradication by humans eons ago.

The land was vast and beautiful, the perfect home for werewolves to live and rule. Each territory was home to a royal bloodline, descendants of the very first alphas to have ever roamed the land. From them, towns and cities, known as packs, grew to thrive and provide homes for their many members. At the head of each territory stood a king, the alpha king to oversee the land and ensure peace and prosperity for all. Only alphas could be alpha king, and they were usually the firstborn male from the royal family. And the royal city served as the heart of each territory, where the Alpha King resided.

The territories include.

The Artic Territory is the most northern territory and is separated from the rest by a sea. It's a giant island. The wolves are elusive and keep to themselves. Very few humans live there, and mutts don't happen. The werewolves are white in color, and their human forms are just as distinct. Most have porcelain skin, varying colors of light blonde to snow white hair and lilac or icy blue eyes. The environment is extremely harsh, and snow covers the ground 90 % of the time. The alpha king and queen are Kane and Lia Nivia and their children are Crowned prince Eagan Nivia and Omega Princess Calliope Nivia. They have a older son, from another marriage. Leon Nivia, not much is known about him.

The Northern Territory is the largest territory and is on the Artic Sea coast lines. They are mostly grey wolves and some artic and gray mixes. The human forms are fair-skinned with varying shades of platinum blonde to light brown. Green or blue are the common eye colors. The environment varies to harsh and cold near the Artic Coast to warm summers and cool winters near the southern border. The alpha king and queen is William and Mia Fairborn. Their children are Adelaide Fairborn and Roman Fairborn.

he Southern Territory is the second largest and often the most discriminated against. They are seen as savages because they are naturally the largest and muscled up compared to the rest of the world and more dominant and traditional in their ways. Most Southern wolves are black or grey. Their human forms are distinctive by their olive tanned skin, dark hair, brown or hazel eyes. The environment is humid, extremely hot summers, and mild winters to warm winters the further south you go. The Southern Territory is a popular tourist destination with the tropical like weather in the southern most region where the capital is. The alpha king is David Black, a young king thrusted into the role before he was ready. He has not taken a queen yet.

The Midwestern territories are located smack in the middle and borders 4 out of 5 territories. The environment is unpredictable, and it is prone to violent storms like tornadoes. The environment is also drastic with cold mountains in the North and hotter wetlands in the South. Big export of cattle and diary. The wolves are taller but thinner. The human forms vary drastically from dark skin to fair skinned and anything in between. They are a melting pot of sorts. The alpha king is just as tall as David but much less muscular. His name is John Brown, 58 years old, fair-skinned and brown hair and green eyes, and he is corrupt. Very coy wolf in nature. He has let his territory go and be overrun with drugs. The Northern King, William, has already closed his side of the Midwest border. The other Territories aren't far behind, it's bleeding over into their border town. His daughter is Amara Brown, an Alpha female.

The Western coast territories are smaller and more luxurious and modern. They have a large population of humans, and pure werewolves are a rarity. Mutts are very common here because they co exist peacefully. Most are dark skinned or mixed. The western King is Darren Williams, and he is not an alpha. He is a mutt, though the rest of his family inherited the werewolf gene. The environment is desert like, with hot dryer summers and cool dry winters with popular beaches.

The last Territory is the Northwestern Territory and is separated by a expansive wilderness on all sides. It's also know as the human realm. It's strict werewolf policies tend to deter them but a few do reside there. They are usually big CEO alpha’s who are filthy rich and so far out of their natural instincts none have shifted in years. There is a no shifting law within city limits.

Alphas are usually larger, more dominant, and aggressive, and have penises that "knot" similar to canine phalluses. they have large penises. They go into ruts or heats in which they have an overwhelming need to breed any female in heat, especially their mate. Men and women can be alphas. Alpha females aren't very fertile. Their high testosterone levels prevent proper implantation. Alpha males and Alpha females don't usually mate because of their dominant personality, causing conflict within the relationship. alphas can transform into full wolf form with ease.

Omegas are the submissives. They're usually smaller and more gentle. They are weaker in muscle mass and strength but are just as sturdy as any werewolf. Often, they will create nests and be family oriented.  They go into heat once a month for 24 to 48 hours, similar to a human ovulation. They have an overwhelming desire to mate and become uncomfortable and often painful when they do not mate during this period. They are extremely fertile. They do not have menstrual cycles. Omega's are specially designed to be mated with Alphas. A slightly longer vaginal canal, wider pelvic bones and a slightly longer torso means carrying and birthing an alpha's pup is easier for them, especially with larger babies.

Humans are just humans. They do not transform into wolves. They do not have scent glands. They do not go into heat or rut. they don't have the heightened sense of smell as werewolves. They are weaker and smaller than alphas but can be stronger and larger than omega's. though stronger than omega's, their bodies aren't as sturdy and can't take as much damage nor have the pain tolerance as werewolves. humans come in all shapes, and sizes can be dominant or submissive and anywhere in between. Humans cannot handle Alpha's sexually, Alphas have larger penises, but it's not impossible if the Alpha is gentle. Humans vaginal canal are shorter than omega's.

Beta's are intelligent, the brains behind the Alphas. They are somewhere in the middle in size. Though some can be as tall as an alpha or short as an omega. They are strategists. The generals, the second in command, the planners, and the assistants of alphas.

Human females can not handle Alpha's sexually but it's not impossible. Most alphas find with humans boring since they have to be more cautious and gentle with them. Proceed with caution.

Knotting occurs during (mostly) where the base of the alpha’s swells and becomes engorged (more so than usual) and is pushed inside the omega’s body to keep the alpha’s seed inside and locks them together. This is to improve the chances of an omega falling pregnant,

Humans are a minority in this universe and added variety in a world defined as either submissive or dominant. It has been 1,000 years since the first human showed up, and things modernized quickly, bringing their technology. No one knows where they came from or how they came to exist in this AR.

Scenting- Scents and smells are important to wolves. Alphas and omegas have scent glands, and often , omega's heat is specifically scented to draw in alpha males. Alphas will often leave their scent on an omega to claim them by nuzzling his face into her neck and shoulder area. Usually done when the omega is in public and seen as an endearing show of affection.

Claiming bites - these are extremely variable and can happen anywhere on the body. Temporary bites are superficial bites and aren't hard enough to break skin. Bruises are similar to hickies and fade and are among the most common claiming marks and must be redone very often.

Permanent bite marking can also vary depending on the brutality of the alpha. Most are between fated mates and are clean, quick, and made as painless as possible. Teeth break the skin enough to leave faint scars and leave their scent faintly, usually enough for self pleasure.

Some bites are painful and done to show dominance against defiant mates. These break the skin and tear, causing more noticeable scarring and leaving behind a stronger scent. Noticeable from a close distance.

Mates - This can range from anything from being married to being fated soul mates
