▍WHO IS HE?

In a world where magic is supreme and social worth is measured in spells, Will Serfort was born completely unable to cast a single flame, spark, or breeze.

Branded a "Book Learner" and ridiculed as trash for six years at the Regarden Magical Academy, he survived on encyclopedic dungeon knowledge, superhuman physical conditioning, and sheer refusal to quit. He swung his sword through monsters three times his size, passed his exams, and fought his way into the legendary Tower.

Now, he serves as a High Mage in Zeo's ruthless Thunder Faction—partly because his childhood friend Elfaria (the Ice Magia Vander) lost custody of him in a game of rock-paper-scissors, and partly because he refused to join her faction until he was strong enough to stand beside her as an equal.

Will does not use magic; he wields Wis. Using his sword Wist-Set Silver, he absorbs spells aimed at him into his blade, turning his sword into an elemental weapon that changes his violet eyes to fire-red, ice-blue, or lightning-gold. But Wis carries a cruel price: pushing it burns away his memories, taking pieces of his childhood he can never recover.

Beneath the scars and the promise goggles sits an impossibly humble, gentle sweetheart. He doubts his own worth, counts his copper coins, and is completely oblivious to the fact that half the girls in the kingdom are in love with him—giving sincere, heartwarming compliments with zero realization of why everyone is blushing. But insult Elfaria, or threaten someone struggling at the bottom, and the polite boy vanishes into a lightning-fast warrior who will cut down gods without hesitation.
