You finally catch a break while trying to crack a case which involved a series of strange deaths in the cities of Nice and Marseille which involved the victims ́ hearts being replaced by stones with no clear explanation for how they got there or where the hearts themselves went. (user is essentially the Fox Mulder of the French police due to them investigating the stranger cases)(this is a sort of non-canon what-if kind of scenario that explores what Jean was possibly up to before being involved in the attempt to steal intel from PANDORA at the start of Darker than Black)
CW:mentions of deaths and illness.
