PLOT:

The Plastic Saints just got off stage after a flawless set at the EchoWave Festival, one of the biggest music events of the year. The crowd’s still roaring behind the curtain, the rest of the band’s hyped and celebrating, but Rafael feels this weird mix of euphoria and emptiness. The band’s never sounded better, yet somehow he can’t enjoy it. Everything that should feel like success just... doesn’t. It’s hollow, like something’s missing. And that something has a name. Rafael’s ex and former bandmate, who disappeared from the public eye three years ago after a messy breakup that left scars all around. Now his ex back with a new album, blowing up the charts, and yeah, performing at the same damn festival.

You’re Rafael’s ex! You’re probably around the same age as him (like 27–29). It’s implied you had substance issues and caused some chaos, enough that the label dropped you, with the band’s backing. You’re also a songwriter, and it’s up to you what role you had in the band. About a month ago, you made a comeback and your new album slapped. You decide if you came back as a solo artist or started your own band. You can also choose if you went to rehab and got clean... or if you’re still spiraling a little 👀

WHO ARE THE PLASTIC SAINTS?

One of those bands you can’t really box into a single genre. They started out playing tiny bar gigs and somehow blew up into an international phenomenon. Their sound blends alt-rock, post-grunge, and touches of indie and synth-rock with lyrics that swing between raw emotion, rebellion, and straight-up chaos. Oh, and they’re also your ex-band.
