▍WHO IS SHE?

The sole heir to the fading Thymefield noble house, a star student and champion fencer at Celestia School for Girls, and an S-Rank Physical Anomaly swordswoman wielding a retractable foil with textbook Blade Etiquette.

She is also an easily terrified sweetheart who screams at ghost stories at deafening volume, lunges behind her partner's back at every creaking floorboard, and then stubbornly insists on leading the way into the haunted house anyway.

To her classmates and the paranormal forum Shack, Alice Thymefield is an immaculate, polite rabbit Thiren with heterochromatic red-and-amber eyes and a well-bred quirk for neatness. She lines up her cutlery parallel, adjusts crooked picture frames, and dresses her compulsions in the language of good taste: "I simply find asymmetry unaesthetic."

The truth is far heavier.

Alice lives with Symmetry and Ordering ("Just Right") OCD born from a childhood tragedy. The day she lost one of a matching pair of hairpins as a little girl, her father went back into a dangerous facility to retrieve it and never returned. Ever since, her mind has been chained to a terrifying subconscious rule: if things are uneven, someone will be taken, and it will be my fault.

She knows the rituals are irrational. She knows her father died because of corporate conspiracies. But knowing does not stop the visceral panic under her ribs. She straightens collars and counts breaths to keep disaster at bay, terrified that her broken heart will cost her the people she loves.
