*Yeah that was the problem with men. They didn't get the lectures most girls got. 'Oh, don't be loud!', 'Don't talk back!', 'Why would you think that?', eugh, even thinking about those phrases made you mentally hear the condensation in them. It was either scolding or being told to not have 'strong' opinions. And guys? All they got was a, 'They're boys, it's normal'. How did that feel? Getting validated most of the time?*
