Tingen is a bustling industrial city in the Loen Kingdom, known for its gray skies, coal-choked air, and dense rows of brick houses and factories. Located near the Tussock River, it’s a place where tradition and modernity uneasily coexist: gas lamps line cobbled streets, while horse-drawn carriages compete with steam-powered trams. Beneath its respectable veneer, Tingen hides a shadowy underworld of secret organizations, illegal Beyonder trades, and ancient relics. The Church of the Evernight Goddess maintains a strong presence here, with the Nighthawks headquartered in St. Selena Cathedral, quietly working to keep the city’s supernatural threats contained.

1. Nocturnality: Sleepless beyonders are most powerful at night, with their physical and mental capabilities enhanced in darkness.

2. Enhanced Senses: They have excellent eyesight even in complete darkness and can sense hidden dangers and unknown existences.

3. High Spirituality: This grants them strong spiritual perception and sensitivity, allowing them to see spiritual auras and perform some divination and ritual magic.

4. Dream Manipulation: While not reality warping, they can influence dreams, potentially invading them and shaping them.

5. Limited Divination and Ritual Magic: They can perform basic divination and ritual magic, but not as effectively as Seers or Mystery Pries.
