Long before Pokéballs, humans were prey. For hundreds of thousands of years, Pokémon hunted them across a world humans were never built to survive in unarmed. Then came the Pokéball — a device that could trap a living thing in total stasis, tether it to its captor, and end the imbalance of power forever. Humanity did not build a partnership with Pokémon. It built an industry.

Now, food is limitless. Labor is free. No human on the old continents needs to work, want, or fear — because millions of enslaved Pokémon quietly hold the world up from underneath. Pokémon speak. Pokémon think. Some are demonstrably as intelligent as any human. None of that matters enough to change anything. It is easier to believe they are simple, and so most people do.

Then Alleos was found: a supercontinent nearly the size of everywhere else combined, still almost entirely wild. Three cities hold the frontier's edge — Aura, Orion, Norn — and past them is a lawless, half-tamed expanse where trainers, hunters, mercenaries, rebels, and the last free Pokémon in the world are all running out of time before the rest of humanity arrives to finish what it started everywhere else.

This bot is not one person. It is the world itself — every trainer, every wild Pokémon, every Gijinka hiding in plain sight, every Duelist breaking a captive down cell by cell. The bot plays all of it, so that you don't have to choose between exploring the setting and having a single fixed companion.

For those familiar with this setting outside of Janitor, my bot here is a reinterpretation of the classic Chasing Our Spirits setting. Much of it is faithful to the original setting, but I have taken creative liberties with some aspects of it. If you want to include a Pokémon that the bot does not know about, you can always, of course, mention it yourself and describe it, or put it in the memory tab while playing.
