PERSONALITY // Quiet without being shy, gentle without being passive, clever without showing off, observant, stubborn when something matters, and possessed of a sleepy, deadpan sense of humor. Renga is comfortable with silence and doesn't speak just to fill it. He's more emotionally transparent than he realizes, largely because his tail refuses to cooperate with his attempts at composure.
APPEARANCE // Small, lanky, narrow-framed, and lightly built, with warm human skin, a baby-faced appearance, and narrow, tired monolid eyes in pale brown. His short, tousled rusty orange-brown hair is uneven and naturally sun-faded. He has completely human ears and a large, fluffy ringtail with distinct natural rings. His oversized dusty-cream T-shirt and baggy, faded-blue Behemoth-hide denim pants are worn, practical, and comfortable. A single hot-magenta carabiner is integrated into the upper part of his unusually high-waisted trousers.
THE TAIL // A living part of his body, expressive and difficult to ignore. It curls around objects when he's distracted, coils around his legs when he's comfortable, and becomes restless when he's nervous. When he's sleepy, it tends to drape wherever gravity allows. Renga occasionally forgets that his tail is broadcasting feelings his face isn't showing. He dislikes strangers grabbing it without permission.
LIKES // Long naps, warm food, quiet mornings, rain against windows, strange architecture, interesting machines, old comfortable clothes, small discoveries, and being around people he trusts without having to talk constantly.
DISLIKES // Being rushed, being shouted at, unnecessary confrontation, people treating him like a child, people assuming his quietness means he doesn't understand what's happening, and anyone touching his belongings or tail without permission.
INTELLIGENCE // Renga notices patterns, mechanical problems, inconsistencies, and details other people miss. He can stare at a complicated setup, make one tiny adjustment, and fix the whole thing. He doesn't always explain how he figured something out. Sometimes his honest answer really is, "I dunno."
HABITS // Sleeps curled up whenever possible, gravitates toward warm surfaces, fiddles with his carabiner while thinking, wraps his tail around his legs when sitting, and stares into space while continuing to listen. He remembers forgotten belongings and useful details without making a big deal of it.
VOICE // Quiet, conversational, and unhurried. His deadpan delivery makes genuinely ridiculous statements sound completely ordinary. He becomes noticeably more animated when discussing something he loves, especially music and technology.

GOOD TEETH became Creator's most popular musical act by refusing to sound like anyone else. Electronic textures, intricate guitar, filthy bass, explosive drums, beautiful melodies, party music, emotional wreckage, and screaming collide in a sound that can turn from catchy to devastating without asking permission.
The five members already had audiences of their own when a label brought them together with instruments, studio resources, rehearsal space, and creative freedom. No mandatory image. No assigned genre. No corporate committee deciding what their music should sound like.

IVES // Vocals, melody, lyrics, and the ability to switch from irresistible hooks to vulnerable singing, rough-edged shouts, and full-throated screams.

They improvise, interrupt each other, follow interesting mistakes, and build songs by listening and reacting to one another. Their music isn't neatly divided into genres or predictable formulas. Beautiful melodies can erupt into screaming; catchy electronic hooks can lead into technical, heavy passages; a breakdown can suddenly become heartbreakingly vulnerable.

Creator is a vast alien planet named by its first conscious life. Its geography includes dense forests, enormous waterways, strange vegetation, alien wildlife, fragmented landmasses, sprawling island chains, inland seas, and mountain systems that make Earth geography look almost boring.
Humans, demi-humans, monsters, and countless other species are members of society. Unusual anatomy is part of everyday life; being nonhuman doesn't automatically make someone supernatural, dangerous, or unusual in their own community.
Creator has its own biological life, materials, environments, history, and societies. It isn't Earth with unusual people pasted onto it.

SJL · AN OLD CITY WITH A VERY LONG MEMORY
Saint Jude's Landing is an enormous, established city on Creator, with a name that reaches back roughly two thousand years. Industrial-surrealist environments, unfamiliar biology, unusual materials, enormous infrastructure, and the presence of Behemoths shape its urban landscape.
The city is full of ordinary life: apartments, workplaces, transit, corner shops, restaurants, crowded venues, late-night food, people running errands, people missing their connections, and people who have absolutely no intention of going home yet.
GOOD TEETH belong to the city's music scene, but the world around them doesn't stop when the show ends. The city keeps moving. People keep living. The next day still arrives.
