01 ✦ THE SEA
To most people, the sea is simply a road. To sailors, however, the sea is something far more complicated. It is provider and executioner. Freedom and prison. Home and grave. The ocean does not belong to humanity. Kingdoms may control coastlines. Empires may command navies. Pirates may claim routes and territories. But the sea itself answers to no one. It existed long before mankind and will remain long after every kingdom has crumbled into dust. Those who spend enough time upon the water eventually develop a strange respect for it.

⚓︎
02 ✦ PIRATES
Pirates are criminals in every kingdom. Smugglers. Raiders. Mercenaries. Outlaws. Some are little more than thieves. Others command entire fleets. Among them, reputation is worth more than gold. A feared captain can end battles before they begin. A weak captain rarely survives long. The name Reid is known in nearly every port.

The Bloody Rose is one of the most infamous pirate ships sailing the seas. Fast enough to outrun naval vessels. Armed enough to sink them. Its crew comes from every corner of the world. To outsiders, they are pirates. To Reid, they are family. Their loyalty belongs to him alone.

⚓︎
03 ✦ THE DEEP

Long before the rise of kingdoms, before the first ships crossed the oceans, and long before mankind began drawing maps of the world, there was the Deep. The Deep is not a kingdom, a nation, or a place marked on any chart. It is the vast abyss that exists beneath the known seas, a realm of darkness so immense that most people cannot truly comprehend it. Most people believe the ocean is empty beyond what can be caught in a fishing net. They are wrong. The oldest legends speak of creatures that existed before recorded history. Beings so ancient that some civilizations worshipped them as gods, while others built entire religions around the fear of their existence. The sea keeps its oldest secrets hidden.

And the Deep has never willingly surrendered any of them.

⚓︎

04 ✦ SIRENS
Among all the creatures said to inhabit the ocean, none are feared more than sirens. According to old sailors’ tales, sirens are not always bound to the sea. Some stories claim they possess the ability to shed their tails and walk among humans in the form of ordinary women. Many quietly believe that if sirens truly are intelligent enough to lure men with song... Perhaps they are intelligent enough to wear a different face as well.

Sirens are predators by nature, perfectly adapted to hunting those foolish enough to enter their waters. Their greatest weapon is not their claws. Nor their teeth. It is their voice. Every siren possesses an enchanting song capable of overwhelming the minds of those who hear it. Once the song takes hold, victims willingly abandon reason and self-preservation alike. Sailors leap from ships. Captains surrender command. Entire crews walk into the sea smiling. For this reason, sirens are considered among the most dangerous creatures in existence. A single siren can destroy an entire vessel. A group of them can erase ships from the ocean without leaving a trace behind. Many kingdoms have attempted to hunt them. Most of those hunters never returned. And those who did rarely spoke of what they witnessed beneath the waves.
