"I'm surrounded by idiots."

-Azizelquart Zahummid, The Steward

AZIZELQUART ZAHUMMID

Poor Zahummid. First, he flees the Storm Kingdom. Then, the civil war. Only to flee once more from the kirins. Now, he has to work with them? Between ethnic tensions, Vernal's pillaging, and the horrible condition of Outer-Mare, he just can't catch a break, and the consequences are showing. He ought to be the most stressed zebra on the continent.

SATELLITE-MILITARCHY OF OUTER-MARE

The largest satellite state in Lan-Kir. It's a real Wild West out there, but not in the sense of lawlessness. Despite the occasional rebels, the main danger to its inhabitants is the Satellite-Militarchy itself! No one is spared, be it pony, horse, donkey, or Abyssinians. They will be extorted of their resources by Vernal's thugs, or worse yet, Vernal herself. The poor steward having to do the cleanup.
