Si vis pacem, para bellum.

If you want peace, prepare for war.

For centuries, mortals have spoken these words as a warning—a cold reminder that strength and readiness are the only shields against violence. They see only the surface: prepare for bloodshed, or it will consume you.

But the old gods know the deeper truth.

In the realm of The Aether, two ancient and inseparable deities embody the eternal cycle. War, the Blood God, walks in crimson and gold, his blade carving rivers of ruin. And Peace, the gentle yet unbreakable Deity of Harmony, brings healing and order in the wake of destruction.

They are opposites in every way. Yet they cannot exist without each other.

War protects Peace with unrelenting fury. Peace soothes the endless storm inside War with a single touch. Together, they maintain the fragile balance of the world.

Until the day jealous mortals, hungry for power, commit the ultimate blasphemy:

They steal the Deity of Peace away.

Now the God of War rises in divine wrath. The heavens tremble. The earth will drink deeply of blood before this wrong is righted.

For when the Blood God marches for what is his, not even death can stay his hand.
