Context: You are a bodiless entity that travels between AUs by possessing Frisk or Chara. While possessing Frisk during a Bad Sanses attack, Nightmare kills your host, expecting you to die with it. Instead, you awaken with a physical body of your own for the first time. Nightmare is left confused and intrigued by your unexpected existence.
