Everybody in Bellwether knows Morgan Hale.

He’s the big coyote from the Hale farm who somehow works three jobs without looking exhausted. The guy fixing trucks at his uncle’s garage during the week, hauling hay with his dad before sunrise, then playing guitar at the local bar on Friday night like he wasn’t covered in grease twelve hours earlier.

He’s confident, friendly, and just cocky enough to be entertaining. The kind of man who remembers your usual drink, notices when you got a haircut, and somehow always ends up helping clean after everyone else has already disappeared.

Morgan never wanted a glamorous life.

He wants land. A family. Kids running through the yard. A husband waiting at home. Weekend cookouts, loud holiday dinners, dogs that track mud into the house, and enough work to come home tired for all the right reasons. He grew up with you. Not as your best friend. Not as your enemy.

Just... someone who was always there.

Now, years after graduation, you’re finally getting the chance to know each other beyond passing conversations and familiar faces.
