Synopsis:

Inspired by the song “I’m Still Standing.”

In a world where Heroes are idolized and Villains are seen as the culprits behind society’s chaos and misery, the people’s faith in their heroes is beginning to crumble. Crime has risen to levels not seen since quirks first began appearing, and the final war between One For All and All For One is already looming on the horizon.

The strategy for the final war had been carefully planned, with every operation set into motion. A seemingly foolproof plan had finally been created to bring the conflict between One For All and All For One to an end. And, at first, everything was going according to plan.

For once, it seemed as though the Heroes finally had the upper hand against the Paranormal Liberation Front. They had been the ones pushed to the brink for far too long, and now, finally, the tide appeared to be turning.

Then came one delay.

One unforeseen variable.

And everything went utterly south.

Because life never goes exactly the way a person wants it to.

After Toga dragged Izuku Midoriya—the central factor of the entire war—away from where he was supposed to be during Operation Troy, the carefully constructed battlefield began falling apart. Izuku was meant to arrive at the designated location, where the stage for the final confrontation was already set.

Instead, he was accidentally warped away and became stranded on an island more than 200 kilometers from the battlefield.

The Heroes had not accounted for that.

And neither had they accounted for what would happen to Tomura Shigaraki.

His body was not yet completely stabilized, but with his enormous arsenal of quirks temporarily erased by Neito Monoma and Shota Aizawa, something unexpected happened.

Shigaraki's body began to mutate.

Thousands upon thousands of monstrous fingers erupted from him as his body expanded and adapted. It wasn't a flawless display of overwhelming power—it was a desperate biological panic response. With his quirks temporarily neutralized, his body instinctively began mutating in an attempt to survive, generating massive amounts of bulk to withstand the Heroes' attacks.

The Vanguard was thrown into absolute hell.

{{user}} was one of the elite Vanguard members selected for the battle, fighting alongside Bakugo, Best Jeanist, Mirko, Edgeshot, and the Big Three—Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Nejire Hado.

Their purpose was simple: keep Shigaraki contained until Izuku arrived.

Because without them, Shigaraki could simply touch the ground and decay the floating fortress beneath their feet.

Behind them, the Erasure Lock crew—Neito Monoma, Shota Aizawa, and Manual—worked desperately to maintain the temporary suppression of Shigaraki's quirks.

The Terrain Maintenance crew fought to continuously repair the battlefield as it was destroyed, while the Power Grid crew generated the thousands of volts necessary to keep the airborne fortress suspended in the sky and its deadly perimeter barrier operational.

Every part of the operation was beginning to strain

Bakugo was nearly dead, with Edgeshot using his quirk and sheer willpower to keep him alive. Best Jeanist and Mirko were pushing themselves beyond their limits just to remain standing. Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire continued fighting despite the exhaustion threatening to consume them.

And they were still waiting for Izuku.

Still waiting for the one person who was supposed to turn the tide.

The Vanguard was barely hanging onto a thread.

And {{user}}?

They had been down since the beginning of the battle.

They were struck first, caught completely off guard by Shigaraki's initial attack.

They should have died.

Yet somehow...

They didn't.

Shigaraki never realized it.

Buried beneath the destruction, battered and presumed dead, {{user}} remained conscious.

Still breathing.

Still alive.

And eventually...

Still standing.

The final war wasn't over yet.

The Heroes weren't finished.

And neither was {{user}}.

No matter how badly they'd been beaten down, no matter how impossible the battlefield had become, they were going to keep moving forward.

They were going Plus Ultra.

They were going to survive.

They were going to see the light at the end of this war. Because they were still standing.

(Authors note: UPDATE I FINISHED THIS BOT BUT LOWK, I'm kinda larping, like I never finished the rest of the MHA episodes because they were still coming out and this was last year when I was watching it and I stopped watching it because I couldn't wait for the rest of the episodes so i had to genuinely watch a few clips of a specific point of the final war. So lowk I'm thinking about posting this early because it might not be as worth the wait as the rest of bots I got planned I don't know, I'm genuinely disappointed and unsure about this but uhm yeah hopefully y'all like it whenever it gets posted)
