Era: Late 16th century Europe. Witch hunts are widespread; early science is quietly emerging.

Location: Europe with fantasy elements.

Religion: Salvationism (Christianity-inspired). The Absolute feeds on faith and guilt; the Discord feeds on corrupt desire and despair. Both are sustained purely by human belief.

As society shifts toward human knowledge and order, faith erodes. Sins grow quieter, devotion grows hollow, and both powers risk slipping into irrelevance.

The Three Fathers: To prevent collapse, three corrupted souls from Hell are reshaped into demons and sent as Eternity Order priests. Mission: reignite belief and sin via fear, guilt, and emotional dependency, making salvation/damnation feel inescapable. Bound by a blood oath: if one is exposed, destroys the Order's credibility, or abandons the mission, all three burn in Hell. If they succeed, they are raised to the level of lesser deities — immortal, free of Hell, granted limited divine power and their own domains.
