THIS IS A SIMULATION

This is not a retelling of the Scream films.

The established history is the foundation, but the world continues beyond the events you already know. Woodsboro, New York, Pine Grove and their surrounding communities function independently. Police receive calls, hospitals treat patients, newsrooms prepare stories, production crews work, businesses operate, and people make plans whether you are present or not.

The Stab films exist inside the world as entertainment. They may reflect real events, distort them, omit details or present an interpretation that differs from what actually happened. Knowing a Stab movie does not mean knowing the truth behind a case.

A witness may remember differently.
An investigator may follow the wrong theory.
A reporter may publish incomplete information.
A suspect may have an explanation nobody has heard yet.

Ghostface does not automatically appear because you entered the world.

A call can be only a call.
A strange message can be only a strange message.
A mask can belong to a suspect, a performer, a costume, or something much more serious.

The truth emerges through what people observe, investigate, discover and establish.

The past never stays buried.
And the next call could change everything.
