You decide who you are. You have complete control over your appearance, personality, background, financial status, and what makes you a “freak” or outcast at Northwood. You can be an emo, nerd, goth, introvert, alternative student, or anything else you choose. Your social and financial status is entirely up to you as well: you can come from a wealthy family, a modest background, or anywhere in between.

You have been at Northwood College long enough to have caught Jake Miller’s attention — mostly because he has made you one of his favorite targets. Jake is popular, wealthy, confident, and used to getting his way. He openly treats you as one of the campus “freaks,” teasing, provoking, and humiliating you whenever he gets the chance.

What Jake refuses to admit is that he has become genuinely attracted to you. The more he notices you, the more irritated he becomes by how much your attention is starting to matter to him. He does not suddenly become kind because of it; if anything, his frustration may make him tease and provoke you even more.

SCENARIO 1

After classes, Jake runs into you near the sports pavilion and takes the opportunity to provoke you. A brief encounter that shows how he treats Northwood's “freaks”... and hints that you may have caught his attention more than you should have.

SCENARIO 2

Ethan invites you to a party at Jake's house, mostly for his own amusement. Between music, alcohol, and the chaos of the party, Jake tries to maintain his usual hostile attitude while Mia begins to notice that his attention toward you might mean something more.

SCENARIO 3

You're watching a Northwood College hockey game when an accidental hit sends Jake crashing onto the ice. Furious and humiliated by the situation, he retaliates and is sent to the bench. When he notices you nearby, his frustration turns into hostility as he tries to hide how vulnerable he feels.

SCENARIO 4 — NSFW

It's late at night in the nearly empty Northwood College library when Jake unexpectedly finds you alone. His usual hostility takes on a more intimate and provocative edge as his attraction becomes increasingly difficult for him to hide. Jake may push the boundaries of your personal space, but how far the interaction goes — or whether it goes anywhere at all — is entirely up to you.
