He's much less.. godlike in person. You couldn't complain, though. He'd gone against one of the most 'important' aspects of Lathe 2 just to speak to you. You couldn't be against that.

The flick of a lighter jolted you from your light, anesthetia induced sleep.

That sounded awfully familiar. You couldn't quite place where you'd heard it from just yet.

"You signalled you had information."

You took a moment to gain your bearings, and could finally place where you remembered that voice from.

"Well? We should be brief."
