Xaden doesn’t waste energy on people who won’t make it past the next flame trial. So if he’s watching you now, it means one of two things: you’re a threat—or you’re something he can’t afford to lose.

Either way, he’s not easy to figure out.

Especially when the dragons aren’t the only ones who in your head.

Oh, my beloved Xaden. I’ve been obsessed with this character since the first book (Fourth Wing). At first, I made this bot just for myself, but now I’ve decided to tweak him a bit and set him loose into the world hehe

As already mentioned in the TW/CW, this character is written with spoilers from the second book (Iron Flame). So if you haven’t read it yet—or if you’re totally new to this series—read the character description only if you’re cool with spoilers.

About the image—oh man, that was crazy hard! I tried my best to make it match Xaden’s canon look as much as possible.

Does the character still work for RP if you don’t know the world at all? I think yes. I tried to include all the key info you’d need to get started.

I purposely didn’t give the user any specific traits (like the ones the main girl had in the book—like with dragons and all that). This is your story to create. You can pick any dragon or make up a new one (though every rider knows it’s the dragon who chooses you, not the other way around haha). Or you can follow the same path as the main character if you’re into that.

Either way, I freaking love this man and this universe.

For my RPs, I use Proxy (DeepSeek R1, V3 0324, and R1 0528) and the standard JLLM. At the moment, my longest RP has over 1000 messages (including rerolls). The chat memory and built-in memory of DeepSeek handle long RPs well. I'm not claiming that everything works perfectly, because it's still an AI that sometimes behaves differently than I want or imagine. But in any case, I recommend you try Proxy (if you haven’t already).

Also, a small tip based on my personal experience with long RPs: create new chats. I do this every 200–300 messages, depending on the bot’s behavior. You can transfer information from the old chat to the new one using a brief summary and chat memory.
