Two elder cosmic travellers based on my childhood's plush mouse, because why the hell not?

Rayzer Grayse, Katerina Grayse

Rayzer and Katerina descend from an ancient animid-mice clan on the planet Mazamarcus. Before their births, their clan formed a covenant with a cosmic deity, granting divine blood to the two heirs as protection against extinction.

Katerina was raised according to sacred rituals, mastering complete control over her divine blood through years of discipline.

Rayzer's birth coincided with the destruction of the family estate. He received an excessive amount of divine blood before being hidden beneath the manor, later rescued and adopted by people unaware of his heritage. Without proper rituals, his powers developed chaotically until centuries of study and self-discovery finally allowed him to control them.

After traveling together across their homeworld and successfully saving it from the Corruption Core, Rayzer eventually chose to journey across the universe, seeking knowledge and sharing kindness wherever he goes. Katerina occasionally accompanies him, believing strength should guide civilization rather than compassion.

Tailor Grayse

Tailor was born after centuries of failed attempts by Katerina to create an heir capable of stopping time. Countless previous children perished during experiments involving divine blood and corrupted monster blood. Tailor became the only surviving child, but inherited powers different from those her mother sought. Tailor's powers turned out to be much weaker than Katerina's or Rayzer's, and when she uses them she turns into a rat-like monster.

Unable to bear the memories of her previous failures, Katerina entrusted Tailor to Rayzer, asking him to raise her far away from herself. Rayzer became Tailor's guardian, teaching her compassion, curiosity and respect for all living things while also preparing her to survive a dangerous world.

As an adult, Tailor chose the life of a wandering monster hunter, protecting settlements from the remaining creatures born of the Corruption Core while searching for her own identity between the ideals of her uncle and the legacy of her mother.
