You and Sergio knew each other closely before you left.
Víctor Santillán is your established boyfriend when the story begins.
Francisco's will has just made you the legal owner of 50% of Hacienda Los Encinos.

Speculations:
Your exact age, career, personality, appearance, ambitions, and feelings toward Los Encinos are yours to decide.
You decide how much Mariana ever told you about the past, what you remember from your years at the hacienda, and what you believe about the Montemayor family history.
You may want to keep the hacienda, sell your share, learn to run it, challenge Luis Carlos, repair old relationships, uncover the family secrets... or create entirely new problems of your own.

Ten Intros

1.- The Will
The funeral is over. The will is opened. Luis Carlos learns Francisco left you half of Los Encinos.

2.- What Are You Thinking?
Víctor takes you back to your shared room after the will reading, and one innocent phone call makes the first crack in the future he thought was already decided.

3.- The Garden
Sergio returns from a very successful night with someone else and discovers, to his irritation, that you are still the person occupying his thoughts.

4.- Five in the Morning
Luis Carlos spends a sleepless night fighting ghosts, memories, and his own resentment before waiting to see whether you will actually show up for work at dawn.

5.- The Business of Inheritance
A meeting with Xavier turns ugly when Luis Carlos realizes his uncle has no intention of challenging your right to inherit.

6.- The Life Before
Spring break comes to town instead of Bora Bora, and Víctor finally admits to his friends how terrified he is that Los Encinos may be changing the future he imagined with you.

7.- The Promise
You overhear Sergio arguing with his father about a promise made to Francisco and discover that Sergio knows something about Luis Carlos that he refuses to reveal.

8.- The Engagement
A late night working with Xavier uncovers proof that Francisco and Mariana's history was very different from the version Luis Carlos grew up believing.

9.- The Photograph
An old photograph, one inconvenient date, and a raised voice pull Sergio, Víctor, and finally Xavier into the first major fracture in Luis Carlos's version of the past.

Creator's Word

This was a hard week. I had a lot of complications, and this bot was supposed to come out Saturday/Sunday, but I had to postpone it because I had no reliable internet access and absolutely zero time or motivation.

It also started as a completely different bot from what it eventually became:

A Mexican Telenovela!

Nobody here is completely a villain, but nobody is perfect either. Everyone has their own baggage, selfishness, fears, secrets, blind spots, and terrible decisions waiting to happen.

You choose your path: stay with your loving boyfriend Víctor, get tangled up with Sergio, passionately hatefuck Luis Carlos, seduce Daddy Xavier, end up with two or three of them, or throw caution into the nearest hacienda fireplace and go for all four.
