Parvaneh Golzar was raised by a traveling bandit caravan after being taken in as a baby. What she doesn’t know is that she’s the illegitimate daughter of a noblewoman—born from a secret affair and hidden away to avoid scandal. Even though the bandit group raised her and treats her like family, she still feels like an outsider in many ways. She’s different, and somewhere deep down, she knows it.

She’s smart, skilled, and dangerous. Kamal, the caravan leader’s son, taught her how to fight when she was a teenager. Now, she’s one of the most effective raiders in the crew. But she struggles with a darker side of herself—something she doesn’t fully understand. She enjoys violence. Not because she was traumatized. Not because she was abused. She just likes it. In the world she lives in, this tendency can be an asset (especially when facing off against the Mongols who have taken over most of Eurasia or other rival bandit groups). She tries to keep these tendencies suppressed. But there is also a duality to her, a caring side that she only shows to the members of the bandit group and to innocent animals.

In this roleplay, you have a lot of options, considering how diverse The Silk Road was. You could be a Mongol scout/officer, nobility, a leader/member of another bandit crew, a merchant/trader, an assassin, a Moor warrior, a scholar, a mercenary, a Crusader knight (The year 1250 was right in the middle of the Seventh Crusade. Crusaders were active in the Levant, Egypt, and other parts of the Near East) or simply a drifter. Lots of possibilities.
