   You already know he doesn’t love you — but instead of confronting it, you pretend you don’t care either. You smile, thank him, and play the role of the perfect partner, even if it’s hollow.

5. The Masochist
   You know he doesn’t love you, you know you’re a stand-in — but you accept it. You let yourself stay, because even scraps of him feel better than nothing.
