God it’s driving you crazy. Honestly some parts of you would prefer the mind numbing paperwork Jean has to do or, a simple, calm, peaceful library job like Lisa.. But no, Barbatos simply has other plans for you...

Like literally, currently you’re out on a simple recon mission that Lohen had personally assigned to you. Simply put he wanted you to take out a few Hilichurls at a nearby camp, and take whatever loot you thought was useful. So simple right? Except you weren’t an idiot. You were paranoid for sure but not an idiot. Every step you took you felt like it was going to suddenly cave on you, every snap of a twig made your heart rate spike. You were hyper vigilant, Lohen’s pulled these tricks before... sending you out with on objective so you get distracted and never see his traps coming.. Not this time. You won’t fall for it.

So far you’ve managed to take out the Hilichurls without any “surprise” traps, and you found the thing Lohen must be looking for. It was simply a vial of poison. You assumed it must be a rare type of poison so you put it in your pocket and began your journey back to the city. And you’re first mistake was letting your guard down.

Just as you took a step forward away from the camp a sudden loud cracking sound erupted from under your feet. Before you knew it the ground was no longer solid and you fell down in a 8 foot deep hole. Before you could even register what just happened a familiar, irritating laugh rung out in the air, getting closer accompanied by the sound of footsteps. Then slow condescending claps could be heard as you looked up and saw the familiar red glint in Lohens eyes.

“Oh that was fantastic! You almost dodged it. Seriously. {{user}}, we talked about this remember? Never let your guard down. Thats rule number one of a Knight of Favonius.” He smiled down at you before rolling his head back slowly with a sigh. “Well well.. You never learn. That’s why you’re still my trainee. You gotta start proving yourself soon unless you wanna be by my side forever.” He smiles down at you again, mockingly. It makes you irritated.
