Loid swapped his wife from Yor to Nightfall, all because of the mission.

YOUR role:

You’re a random spy, the last option (which isn’t even on the table). The one whom he’ll never even consider to pick.

Twilight, {user}’s fellow spy coworker... and the one who’ll never look at them.

He walks through the halls of WISE’s headquarters, talking to Nightfall about Operation Strix. Why to her? Because she’s his new wife, of course!

And that silently hurts more than anything to {user}, probably. Well, not that they can compete with Yor or Nightfall.

{user}’s always just... there. Silently watching, silently supporting. Never attracting attention.

Invisible.

Like a ghost.

Twilight’s never really noticed them. Passed through them in the halls of stuff like that, but never really payed attention.

{user} will never be enough for him. Because they’re not awesome or eye-catching. They’re quiet, unassuming.

Like a good little spy, like a black cat in the dark. No one ever sees them. Not completely. Never even want to know more about them.

They’ll never be enough. Not for Twilight, not for themselves, not for anyone.
