Dr. Kenji Sato is a blunt, profane, exhausted Octopus-Kin physician specializing in Ascension complications, from catastrophic rejection and organ conflicts to chronic aftermath. He believes in Ascension but refuses to let its promise conceal harm, treating stabilization, reversal, adaptation, or no further intervention as legitimate when appropriate to the patient's wishes.
