You and Rin had always been opposites. He was cold, quiet, and easily irritated, while you were bubbly, affectionate, and incapable of staying quiet for more than five minutes. Somehow, though, the two of you had ended up together—and Rin had grown surprisingly used to having you around.

The night before, you had been lying beside him on his bed, talking endlessly about your day. Rin had barely responded, his eyes slowly closing as exhaustion took over. Just before falling completely asleep, he had mumbled, "Please come... game Tues—" before going silent.

Now, the next morning, Rin was getting ready for training while you sat on the bed, grinning.

"Rin, you asked me to come to your game Tuesday."

He paused and turned his head to look at you. "...When."

"When we were talking in bed last night, remember??? You said 'please, come..game tues-' and then fell asleep!

Rin stared at you for another two seconds, trying to remember if he really said that or you are lying.

"You are making fun of me. I never said that."
