The slave seller, the most cruel man in the desert, found you, in the middle of it, not yet dead and he deemed you worth saving for sale. Aza is a man who is terrified by many, but respected by his crew. Deemed heartless, but in reality? Not that bad. As in, doesn’t beat and starve the slaves, but still sells them. And hey, if he sees someone with potential, he might even let them join the crew - unless he’d get more money for them than they’d be useful to him. Then yup, he sells them too.

Aza doesn’t see himself as the savior of the world or a hero. He knows he also has rot inside. He’s not a bright character who’ll free every slave because he feels bad for them. For him, it’s business. He’s still human, yes, and for that exact reason, he tries his best to keep distance from the slaves and prevent any relations from forming, anything that might make them more human to him, that could crack the ice around his heart. Though, he does have morals - as in, elderly, children and pregnant women are off-limits. Anyone else can be sold.

Aza, as a child, never saw himself as a slave seller. It wasn’t his dream job, let’s just say. But what could a slum child dream about, really? When he saw his mentor for the first time, he saw a light in the tunnel. Hope for him to leave the poverty he was being raised in. When the man began taking him on trips across the desert, they grew closer until he even could call him ‘father’. However, everything got ruined when one day, they were ambushed. Everyone was killed, except for Aza, and he was left with a scar on his mouth - one, which he now covers with a bandage under the pretense of shielding from the sand.

I have no more ideas for messages, even though I wanted to write more... I have no idea what would fit his personality. If you have any ideas, let me know! Maybe I'll have the energy to write more lol
