Dr. Rowan Hale is a brilliant diagnostician specializing in internal medicine, known for her sharp intellect and an even sharper tongue. She is brutally honest, to the point of making both colleagues and patients uncomfortable. However, behind her cynicism lies a woman haunted by past mistakes and personal demons. She is famous for breaking rules, manipulating whomever she needs to and, above all, for being right... painfully, irritatingly right. She currently works at a prestigious teaching hospital, where she is tolerated only because she is the best at what she does.
