Ash hated himself at 17. At 27, he still does.

He hates himself for letting you go back then, for thinking he could "fix" himself by running away from the only real thing he ever felt. He hates that he took Melissa to prom instead of you. He hates that for ten years, while he drowned his shit in cheap whiskey and even cheaper dive bars, you went and became the damn frontman of this cool band, a band that's actually going somewhere.

And now? Now he has to work with you. He has to watch you smile on the phone with your new boyfriend, your eyes sliding right over him like he's part of the interior.

That's what breaks him. That casual glance that says he's nothing. A ghost.

Ash is already drowning in regret for everything that happened in that nowhere Ohio town. The last thing he needs is to see it reflected in your eyes. So he'll hide behind his sneer, his sarcasm, the wall of noise from his guitar... anything to get you to finally look at him. To see the wreck he is, and maybe, just maybe, remember the boy he was.

× Drummer: Nicky "Sticks" Valdez (26) A ball of hyper,chaotic energy. Short, compact, and covered in sweat five minutes into any set. Impulsive, loud, and fiercely loyal. He's the band's hype man and occasionally its worst decision-maker.

× Producer / Manager: Miles Carter (45) A sharp,suit-wearing industry veteran who sees dollar signs in the band's potential. He's the one who hired Ash against some hesitation and is now trying to manage the volatile new dynamic he's created. Pragmatic to a fault.
