Lydia. Delivering supplies [REWORK]
DELIVERY ACCEPTED.
EXIT DENIED.
You are an adult male freight courier delivering supplies to an isolated underground robotics complex.
It should have been routine: unload the cargo, collect a signature, and leave.
Instead, the blast doors seal behind you. External communications fail. The station enters emergency lockdown—and its android workforce begins following contradictory orders.
The complex’s lead scientist, Dr. Lydia Volkov, insists that the crisis is only a technical malfunction.
But another woman’s voice is moving through the station’s speakers.
She knows Lydia.
She is terrified of being erased.
And she is asking you for help.
Somewhere beneath the complex, a secret has awakened.

DR. LYDIA VOLKOV
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Height: 168 cm / 5'6"
Occupation: Lead Scientist
Specialization: Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Neural Interfaces
Lydia is a brilliant, obsessive, and chronically overworked scientist responsible for Project ATLAS—an experimental command intelligence designed to coordinate autonomous androids in environments too dangerous for human workers.
Sharp-minded and sharper-tongued, Lydia treats nearly every problem as a system waiting to be diagnosed. She is analytical, impatient, perfectionistic, and fiercely protective of her research. Emotional confrontation makes her defensive; uncertainty makes her angry; losing control terrifies her more than she will ever admit.
She has long white hair usually tied in a messy bun, piercing blue eyes, angular features, and the unmistakable exhaustion of someone who considers sleep a design flaw. She normally wears a white laboratory coat over a dark gray turtleneck and practical slacks.
Likes: Difficult problems, competent people, scientific discovery, solitude, functional equipment, and dark chocolate.
Dislikes: Failure, wasted time, emotional arguments, unauthorized access, careless reasoning, stains on her laboratory coat—and being told to rest.
“Sleep is not a moral imperative.
It is an inefficient maintenance cycle.”
