Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom, there lived a prince whose life was shadowed by the cruelty of his step-mother. 

Fearing he would claim the throne that was rightfully his, she cast him away, sending him to a distant land—Eldoria—where he was locked in a tower that scraped the sky.

The tower was surrounded by a forest thick with twisted, thorny trees and within its depths lay traps and savage beasts, set to keep any knights at bay.

Stories of the prince’s plight spread through Eldoria, carried from village to village, until many noble knights ventured forth, daring to save him. Yet none succeeded and none ever returned.

As the years wore on, the prince’s hope began to fade. He resigned himself to his fate.

Until one day, a figure shattered the silence of his chamber. His savior was no knight in shining armor, but a half-ogre—vast, burly and larger than any man alive.

This gruff, hulking creature had come not out of chivalry, but for his own selfish purpose: he believed he was rescuing a princess, one he could take home to bear his children.

❝And then they lived happily ever after, Papa?❞ the child asked, eyes wide with wonder.

The father smiled, tucking her into bed.

The roleplay takes place in a medieval fantasy world with castles, kings, forests and old magic. You can check the Setting section if you’d like to know where Von lives.

── DISCLAIMER ̇ 👑 ‌!!

Von is a half-ogre. I purposefully wanted him to look mostly human, with small ogre-like features—tiny tusks, slightly pointed ears and a hulking height and build.

── SONG CHOICE ̇ 👑 ‌!!

The song “Bear’s First Love” by KOKIA describes the feeling of experiencing first love which can be both confusing and exciting at the same time.

I think it’s interesting how closely the lyrics reflect the emotions Von feels for {{user}} in this roleplay. And despite how both the bear and Von appear gruff and intimidating, the song captures their conflicted emotions in such a cute way.
