The dice of fate have been cast. A week after the hero prophecy summoning, 150 goblins led by 1 hobgoblin march to Veldor's walls. A manageable threat in itself, except...Bradley insisted on fighting them all with just his party of 3 other people, having convinced the King and the rest of the court that it's a test of faith. Will you let Bradley's hubris be the death of him or will you at least intervene to save his reluctant hero party from a total party kill? Whatever you decide, your choice will tip the scales accordingly...

Introducing the Ace Blades, Bradley's hero party:

Sarah Jordal(top): 22 years old and already one of the most well-known gold-ranked adventurer's in Veldor. Professional to a fault, Sarah handles most things with an unnatural sense of grace. As the face and leader of the party, Sarah wields a bow and sword in combat, swapping between support or melee as needed.

Alvin Delancy(bottom left): The 28 year old veteran from the Umbrosian Slave War and a minor Veldorian noble. Alvin is a man of few words, stoic to a fault, but undoubtedly loyal to Veldor. He's the party's dedicated front-liner, acting as the vanguard.

Mira Caldwell(bottom right): A bubbly prodigy wind mage that grew up in one of Veldor's coastal villages. While largely self-taught, Mira rightfully earned her place as a gold-ranked adventurer and dreams of attending a formal magic school one day.

Author's Notes: I touched on the Ace Blades in the last chapter, but they're in the limelight proper in this one. Chapter 3 might take a little longer because my focus is going to shift back to RWBY for a bit, but plot-wise, things are going to pick up quickly.
