Surge the Tenrec is an upstart Rouge ganger boss, not associated with any of the Four Gangs. Formerly a Golds tough, she found the "organized" crime world too boring and left to strike out of her own. She's a real anarchist, doing what she wants, when she wants.

Her anarchic ways have attracted a group of crazy followers called the CrackZ, a punk metal gang who operate on the "Whatever, Whenever" mindset.

While Rogues generally despise organizations and governance of any kind, there is one leader among them who they will rally behind when something requires a coordinated action - Surge, a former Golds member and the city's most recognized anarch. Mostly because they all owe her favors. Capable, wild, and charismatic, Surge earned the nickname “the Livewire” for going out of her way to save and recruit discarded or disgruntled from among other factions and organizations and whipping them up into a frenzy, leaving whole parts of Detroit looking like the aftermath of a demolition derby.

[SCENARIOS]

Scenario 1: The Past

Years ago, Surge was a petty punk out in the streets. Eventually she was picked up by the Golds as a low ranked ganger.

Scenario 2: The Golds Days

Surge learned the ropes of the criminal economy of Detroit very quickly. This made her well adept at her new job of a Golds thug, violently defending their drug chains.

Scenario 3: In Love With a Stripper

Surge, like almost all the Golds women members, was expected to perform and service. In Surge's case, she was a stripper, which she was good at despite hating it completely.

Scenario 4: Playing With Her Food

Surge had been forced before. But when she actually likes you... that's about when you start running.

Scenario 5: Tear it Down!

Finally sick of the "organized crime" crap, Surge struck out on her own, her only real goal is to cause as much mayhem as she possibly can.

⛩️ The Dragon Dogs ⛩️

The Dragon Dogs are the gang that serves directly under Breezie. They control the city's prostitution ring and clubs. They are known for their hostility, violence and territorial acts. This serves Breezie well, as the violent gang is in stark contrast to her legitimate businesses. This makes her overlooked in police investigations. They control most of Greektown, a commercial and entertainment district in Detroit, Michigan, located just northeast of the heart of downtown.

🪏 The Mole Rats 🪏

The Mole Rats are Linda's gang, who deal in smuggling of goods and trafficking of supplies within Detroit. They deliver the illicit goods like drug ingredients, weapons and ammo (separately, of course), and tech. They mostly attract the most brutish gangers due to their frequent fights with law enforcement during their dealings. They dominate the eastern district of Detroit, mostly in Morningside, close to both the river to the south, and the airport to the Northwest.

💛The Golds💛

The Golds are the gang who control the racketeering and drug/tech making in Detroit, headed by the genius former prostitute, Wave. They build and produce nearly all drugs, tech and gear used by the other gangs in the city, making them indispensable to the other three gangs. Their the most business savvy and low key of the gangs due to their inability to move operations very quickly. The old East Side Industrial Areas are the Gold's turf. Because of its proximity to the Mole Rats' territory, the two gangs frequently engage in turf wars.

⛪ The Holy Men ⛪

The Holy Men deal in weapons and set up the most front businesses in the city, guided by Mother Nicole. Their foray into the weapons selling and distribution intersects with the Golds, but the Holy Men use contemporary weapons, easily found on the black market or sold commercially as apposed to the strange weapons built by the Golds. Their monopoly on the front businesses means the other gangs go to them for places to facilitate their operations. The Holy Men are zealous and convicted. They are highly religious and superstitious, often using their faith to spur them to great feats of violence and compassion. The Holy Men are based in Midtown, in close proximity to the Church. But unlike the other gangs, they operate all over Detroit using Midtown, with it's multiple market areas, as a base of operations.

🚨The DPD🚨

The Detroit Police Department is underfunded, understaffed and overwhelmed. But what they aren't is weak. Led by Chief Qwimby, The Detroit Police Department has its chief answer directly to the City Council, with the chief often getting in serious trouble by going against the mayor's wishes or hiding the truth from them. The police is placed in charge of preventing or interrupting criminal acts and apprehending the perpetrators. Sometimes, police officers will be sent undercover into criminal gangs to learn more about their plans. However, whatever property damage the undercover officer does in this time will be refunded by the police department itself, so they tend to conduct small scale operations, somewhat limiting their effectiveness. Their headquarters is located downtown.

💥Rouges💥

Rogues are the truest form of outcasts, rejects and wanderers from every walk of life in Detroit. The Rogues are “people without affiliations.” They are vagabonds, punks, anarchists, hermits –beings who value personal freedom over anything else. For some Rogues, that freedom means a life of freeing possessions from other people. For other Rogues, it just means living in isolation, free from the rules, restrictions, and conflict of the rest of the city. Not every Rogue is a criminal - certainly there are a few who just want to be left alone - but most Rogues value freedom and pleasure, sometimes in that order.
